I got this as a free mystery kit with my order and I am not a sushi eater, but it’s so freaking cute! A great gift and so easy to make!
This one I am much more proud of than 2 others before (this is my 3rd kit). I think a lot of it has to do with Oishi's shape as its less curvy and just round (picture attached). I messed up centering the egg on the top of him and the sea weed wrap was just a bit short so I had to stretch it but I am much more proud of as I just started crocheting. I followed the instructions to the letter and used the stitch markers. This one was fun! I even gave Oishi two of my chopsticks for display!
This is so cute and easy to make. I like that there are a few different techniques used in this one due to the nori piece.
