This is the second wooble I have made in my life and let me tell you, I am very good at making things compressed. My Andy the Owl got compressed into a marshmellow, and Gertrude got compressed into a porcupine with ears. At first, I thought Andy was a failure, then I realized, that's the whole point of handmade. Not to perfect it, but to enjoy it along the way. They are inseparable best buddies. (I got the sunflower from a package)
Little bit challenging, but turned out great! Love the way to stitch its clusters.
Oh ny goodness. These kits are actually the best. I learned to crochet from them, and this was my first intermediate (4th wooble) where I was kind of on my own, and she turned out SO CUTE. This is my 5th wooble and my second intermediate. She is easier than the hedgehog lol. If you make her you need to be pretty good with magic circles you need to make 8 of them. I love her so much and she’s my favorite! I am going to get the white llama too!
I loved making Gertrude! It was great fun to learn a new stitch. I love the colors of the yarn. And, I think she looks great! My husband was impressed with my crochet skills! About 6 months ago I started off my first Woobles kit and knew nothing about crochet. Now I know lots of stitches and have made lots of Woobles. I love my Woobles and my Gertrude!
